Dear visitors,
We want to apologize for the problems you may have encountered on our Green IT web platform recently. We know how frustrating it can be when things don’t work as they should, and we’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this caused.
What Happened?
Our website runs on WordPress, which helps us provide all the features and information you rely on. Recently, we updated the platform to a newer version of PHP (the programming language behind WordPress) to keep things secure and up-to-date.
Additionally, our website includes several custom-built features, such as interactive tools for tracking green initiatives, a unique e-learning platform, and specialized templates and guides. These custom elements needed extra fine-tuning to adapt to the changes, adding more complexity to the process.
However, not all of our plugins and features were ready for this upgrade. Some of them didn’t work properly with the new PHP version, which led to pages not loading correctly, slower performance, and even occasional outages.
What We’re Doing to Fix It
We’ve been working hard to resolve these issues, and here’s what we’ve done so far:
- Updated Plugins and Themes: We’ve fixed the ones that caused problems and replaced outdated ones.
- Testing Everything: We’re double-checking that all features are running smoothly again.
- Planning for the Future: To avoid this happening again, we’re improving how we test updates before making changes.
Thank You for Your Patience
As of today (12.11.), everything on the Green IT website should be working properly, including all custom features and tools. However, there may still be some minor caching issues on the user side. If you encounter any odd behavior, we recommend clearing your browser cache or refreshing the page to ensure you’re accessing the most up-to-date version of the site. If problems persist, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] —we’re here to help! Thank you for your patience and understanding.
